MAIN INDEX

A brief description of how are part numbering system works.

In general:

DDDD-####-BBSS

where:

  • DDDD is a description of the type of bearing.
    Example:
In a F-1775-7H the "F" stands for flanged and in a MF-1710-7H the "MF" stands for flanged with metal bore.
  • #### normally explains the body size not including the flange in #.### inches format.
    Example:
A F-1775-7H would have a body size of 1.775 inches.
  • BBSS calls out the bore size and a listing of the seals. BB is normally a number (always in X/16ths inches) followed by a H to designate a hex bore, if not a hex bore there will be no H.
    Example:
In a F-1775-7H the bore size is 7/16 inch hex. And a F-1775-8T would have a 1/2 inch round bore and a nylatron seal.
